MANILA, Philippines – Former Philippine child wonder Niño Muhlach requested for prayers as his family began seeking justice for their son Sandro, who they claim was sexually abused by two GMA executives the night of the recently held GMA Gala.

In yet another Facebook post, the actor said their family has “suffered so much because of the unspeakable and vile acts done to our son.”

“We ask for your prayers to help us muster strength and courage to withstand the horror of re-living the dastardly acts of the perpetrators as we seek justice through our legal system,” he said.

The Muhlach family has brought the case against GMA independent contractors Jojo Nones and RIchard Cruz to the National Bureau of Investigation.

The network has vowed to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation on the incident.

The actor said in a previous statement that he would speak about the issue once filing of the criminal case has been secured.

Nones and Cruz’s legal counsel, Maggie Abraham-Garduque,  released a statement claiming the allegations making rounds online “do not mirror the true accounts of the event.”

Their camp also pleaded to the public not to submit both parties to trial by publicity.
