MANILA, Philippines – KAPUSO Primetime King and Queen Marian Rivera donated more than 700 relief packs to GMA Kapuso Foundation for the victims of Typhoon Carina and Habagat.

In her Instagram stories, the actress showed photos of her family repacking 700 packs of relief goods at their home which she and Dantes personally turned over to the GMA Kapuso Foundation warehouse for delivery to affected communities.

Dantes, a Navy reservist, together with other Kapuso stars headed off to Marikina City, one of the worst hit areas during the onslaught of Carina and Ondoy to distribute goods to affected communities.

Other celebrities also displayed heroism during the relentless rains over the week. Among them were actor Gerald Anderson who swam to head-high floods to rescue residents in Quezon City.
