TV host – comedian Willie Revillame was not able to hold his composure and reprimanded a ‘Wil to Win’ staff live on air.
In the July 17 episode of the newly aired Kapatid variety show, the floor director of the program caught the ire of Revillame when he crossed over the camera view while the host was asking for understanding from people for his occasional flare-ups. Visibly frustrated, Revillame bursted out his disappointments to the imperfections of the production.
“Sana naintindihan niyo ko bakit ho ako minsan, ayun, dumaan si Russel sa (camera), Russel dumaan ka sa camera,” he said.
“Makinig muna kayo, Naintindihan niyo ba ako bakit ako nagagalit. ‘Yan ang problema ‘pag hindi alam ang ginagawa sa show, ako lahat ang na-nanagot. Tapos sasabihin niyo mayabang na naman ‘yan binabash niyo ko kasi pinapaganda ko ang programa,” he said.
Revillame said his frustrations are stemming from repetitive mistakes being committed on the show despite rehearsals before airing. Citing as a perfect example the floor director, who has the headphones on, walking in front of the camera.
Revillame also clarified that his outburst was because he was the one always being blamed for mistakes in the program.
“Gusto ko lang maliwanag kasi ako nagiging kawawa’t mayabang at arogante rito sa show na ‘to. Pero kung nakikita niyo, nakikita niyo pati music lahat, o di niyo ba nakikita , o music, o ano. (gesturing that he directs everything),” he said.
“Maawa kayo sa’kin lahat ako nagiisip para sa inyo,” he said.
