MANILA, Philippines – After the arrest of dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo, her purported sister Shiela Guo and Lucky South 99 POGO hub authorized representative Katherine Cassandra Ong, Wesley Guo, brother of the ex-mayor, is now willing to surrender too, said lawyer.
Stephen David, legal counsel of the Guo siblings, said he is now making arrangements with the Philippine government to facilitate the surrender of Wesley.
David said he last talked to Wesley on Thursday.
“Gusto rin niyang sumuko. Detail hindi ko masasabi. Siyempre dumadating yung point ng isang tao yung nadi-discourage ka diba? Kasi yung mga kasama mo nandiyan na lahat. So human being that we are, dumarating yung point ng kahinaan natin gusto nating humarap. Which is actually yun naman ang dapat gawin eh,” David said.
“Di niya nakikita yung essence pa ng pagtatago,” David said.
Guo was arrested in Tangerang City, Jakarta, Indonesia last Wednesday while Shiela was arrested weeks before.
The former mayor will be detained in the Senate together with Shiela where she will serve her arrest warrant.
