Star Magic, the talent arm of ABS-CBN has officially released a statement debunking rumors that actress Ivana Alawi was removed from long-running primetime series “Batang Quiapo” because of her attitude problems.
The Kapamilya stable of stars took to social media on Wednesday afternoon to finally stop rumors surrounding the actress’ exit from the show.
“Nais ipaalam ng Star Magic na walang katotohanan and bali-balitang lumabas tungkol sa dahilan ng pag alis ni Ivana Alawi sa FPJ’s “Batang Quiapo.”
Magmula nang naging parte si Ivana ng serye, mainit ang naging pagtanggap ng publiko sa karakter ni Ivana na si Bubbles at ang tambalan nila ni Coco Martin, kaya naman naging daan ito para humaba ang kanyang pananatili sa serye ng higit sa napagkasunduang tatlong buwan,” it said.
Star Magic also extended their gratitude to the sexy actress for her dedication and love for the show and her co-workers as well as to lead star Coco Martin for giving a chance for the actress to be part of it.
Perry Lansigan, Alawi’s manager, had earlier dispelled the “attitude problem” rumors. He said the actress’ schedule can no longer keep up with the series.
