MANILA, Philippines – Another revelation is unearthed yet again about the Guo family.
Shiela Guo, sister of ex Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo, who likewise presented herself as a Filipino citizen, is a Chinese national, according to the National Bureau of Investigation.
Through fingerprint analysis, Santiago, together with Immigration Commissioner Norman Tansingco and Justice Assistant Secretary Mico Clavano, said Shiela is in fact Chinese national Zhang Mier.
“There was a comparative fingerprint analysis between Shiela L Guo, ito ‘yung nasa amin, at isang Zhang Mier. Comparative fingerprint analysis shows Chinese Zhang Meir and Shiela L Guo are one and the same person,” Santiago said.
We can conclude na si Shiela L Guo na nasa amin ngayon ay isang Chinese,” he said.
Tansingco said Indonesian officers were able to seize a Chinese passport bearing the name Zhang Mier from Shiela.
According to the Bureau of Immigration, the former mayor is still in Indonesia following the cancelation of her Philippine passport.
Shiela, together with Cassy Ong, Lucky South 99 authorized representatives were intercepted in Indonesia. They were immediately flown back to the Philippines and are currently under the custody of the NBI.
