MANILA, Philippines – Senate President Chiz Escudero on Thursday hit the PNP officials  for their failure to arrest fugitive televangelist Apollo Quiboloy. Quiboloy’s continuous freedom against a standing arrest warrant is nothing short of a “slap in the face.”

Quiboloy and five others were ordered arrested by Davao City and Pasig City courts for sexual abuse and qualified human trafficking charges.

Only one of the six accused was arrested. Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos presented Pauleen Canada to the media. She was arrested in Davao City last July 11.
