MANILA, Philippines — Filipino drag queen Eva Le Queen is set to fire up the international scene after her successful introduction at RuPaul’s Drag Race Global All-Stars.

In an X post, RuPaul’s Drag Race revealed the new set of queens vying for the next global drag superstar.

“Drag Race: Global All-Stars” is set to air on August 16 exclusively on Paramount Plus.

Of the 12 drag contenders, one is Eva Le Queen, a Filipino drag queen who was known for competing on season 1 of Drag Race Philippines where she was one of the top 4 finishers last 2022.

“Call her Miss Eva,” RuPaul’s Drag Race said.

According to Eva, it is about time for the Asian representation in the competition and an Asian drag performer won in  the competition.

“I’ve always been inspired by Eastern sisters who came before me like Pangina, they really broke the glass ceilings in the Philippines. I came here because I wanted to show that there is excellence from that side of the world,” she said.

“It’s high time for Asian drag excellence to be in the Hall of Fame. I’m representing the Philippines but at the same time Asia in general because I started my drag in Singapore with the influences of my sisters from Thailand, Indonesia, and Hong Kong,”she said.
