MANILA, Philippines – Dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo may still be in Indonesia while her brother, Wesley Leal Guo tried to sneak to Hong Kong, the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission said Monday.

“Nakatanggap kami ng info na nag-Hong Kong o nag-attempt mag Hong Kong nung nakaraang Monday. Inaalam namin kung natuloy,” PAOCC spokesman Winston Casio said.

The Bureau of Immigration has repeatedly said that they have not monitored any movement from Guo since she stepped into Indonesian borders.

“Naka-monitor po tayo and kausap natin ‘yong ating counterparts as well as intelligence groups sa Indonesia para matunton po and mapantayan itong galaw ng dating mayor Alice Guo para ‘pag naibalik siya ng Indonesian authorities ay haharapan niya ang patong-patong na kaso laban sa kanya,” Casio said.

Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian, one of the most active lawmakers investigating POGOs, said authorities across Southeast Asia were also on alert for the fugitive former town chief.

“Kanina yung mga ASEAN ambassadors nakausap ko at sabi nila naka-alerto na din ang kanilang mga otoridad so mahihirapan siya makagalaw sa ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations),” Gatchalian said in an interview.

Guo’s alleged sister Shiela has already been brought back to the Philippines after being intercepted by Indonesian police on August 20 together with Cassandra Ong, authorized representative of Lucky South 99 POGO hub.

She is expected to appear in the Senate hearing on Tuesday, August 27.
