MANILA, Philippines – Former child actor Niño Muhlach said Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz, the alleged abusers of his son Kapuso young actor Sandro Muhlach apologized to him, safe to say, admitting to the crime their camp is alleging because they thought the act was “consensual.”

In the Senate committee on public information and mass media on Tuesday, Niño said prior correspondence had already happened between their camps. According to the former child actor, a meeting happened between him and the accused at the house of GMA Senior Vice President Annette Gozon – Valdez and there, they apologized.

Niño said the alleged sexual abuse took place because Nones and Cruz said they thought Sandro agreed to it.

“Saktong pagkasabi nila, sorry, sorry talaga Niño, umiiyak sila ha…”

“They apologized, ang sabi nila, ‘sorry talaga, sorry Niño, ganon… Kasi akala namin okay lang,” Niño said quoting the accused.

Sen. Jinggoy Estrada asked if the respondents made an outright admission of what they are accused of.

“Sen. when they said sorry syempre naintindihan ko na ‘yun kung anong kwento ng anak ko, ‘yun na ‘yon and then they said akala daw nila okay lang,” Niño said.

“But clearly kung okay lang eh di wala kami rito sana ngayon. Hindi sana nag-iiyak ‘yung anak ko,” he said.

Sandro has been among the hottest topics on social media after an alleged sexual abuse happened to him after the GMA Gala event with Cruz and Nones allegedly being the culprits.
