DESPITE her embattled health, Queen of All Media Kris Aquino hasn’t lost hope in love. At 53, she has ended a relationship and is starting a new one.
In an exclusive interview with talent manager-turned-vlogger Ogie Diaz, the TV host cleared that she and Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste have parted ways and are never getting back together.
“Yes definitely walang balikan na mangayayari,” she said.
Aquino revealed that the break-up happened in February and they we no longer together by the time of her birthday on the 14th.
“Mag-five months na ‘yan ang tagal na non Ogie. Para malaman lang ng tao nagkalabuan magmula November.
“Sinubukang ayusin pero may mga nalaman ako na hindi ko gusto pero ayoko nang magsabi ng more than that because part of the reason why it did not work out is because I’m at this stage in my life na mas gusto ko ng tahimik and the last post I had was way back in May,” she said.
Without revealing too much but still leaving something meaty to the public, Aquino said, “Hindi sila nagkasundo nung ex.”
“We’re still friendly pero at a distance na,” she said.
When asked if there would still be chance for reconciliation, Aquino said, “Kung sumusubok man sarado na yung pinto. It’s been four months, gusto ko mag move on and I think I have.”
New love
Even with a frail body, the twinkle in her eyes brought glow into her aura when she revealed that she now has a new love.
“Yes. Hindi naman love life but it just flowed, nangyari, he’s a doctor,” she said.
With no holds barred, she revealed that her newfound happiness, a doctor based in the Philippines, is her new inspiration to keep fighting everyday.
“I think that’s part of the reason why it was easy kasi alam niya kung anong pinagdadaanan ko. He’s part of the reason why I’m confident na pwede akong umuwi kaso alam ko may someone who will help in taking care of me,” she said.
Looking obviously thrilled, Aquino said it again, with just a little more giveaway.
‘He’s a doctor based in the Philippines. (From) Makati.”
She however clarified that Leviste and her new inspiration did not overlap.
“May malaking gap naman, hindi naman sila nagkasabay, walang overlap at hindi siya ‘yung dahilan kung bakit hindi kami naging okay,” she said.
