MANILA, Philippines – Dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo, who is now arrested by Indonesian authorities after weeks in hiding, will be invited by the House of Representatives to the hearing of the Quad Committee tackling extra judicial killings, POGOs, Chinese syndicates and drug trades.

“‘Yun talagang nais naming mangyari, iimbitahin din namin siya sa aming Quad Comm hearing,” Representative Bienvenido “Benny” M. Abante said on Teleradyo Serbisyo Wednesday.

News of Guo’s arrest today was confirmed by the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission, the National Bureau of Investigation and Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian.

Guo will be detained in the Senate where she will serve her warrant. The lower chamber meanwhile requires a show cause order from Guo which only directs a party to explain why the court should not reach any conclusion on the concerned case.

No official date yet has been announced as to Guo’s arrival. Shiela Guo, earlier alleged as her sister, has been detained in the Senate for almost a week now. The latter said she and Guo separated ways shortly before her capture.
