MANILA, Philippines – Heavy rainfall warning has been raised in many areas in Luzon as Tropical Storm Enteng further enhances the southwest monsoon or Habagat bringing in more rains. 

As of 8 a.m. bulletin of state  weather bureau PAGASA, red  rainfall warning has been raised in the province of Quezon with expected serious flooding in flood-prone areas, orange rainfall warning is up in Laguna, Batangas, Cavite Rizal and Metro Manila with threats to flooding while the provinces of Bulacan and Bataan are under yellow rainfall warning also with flooding expected in flood-prone areas. 

Meanwhile, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains affecting Zambales, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija and Tarlac which may persist within 3 hours.

According to PAGASA, red rainfall warning means take action, orange rainfall warning means be prepared while yellow rainfall warning means be alert. 

Storm signal number 2 is up in various areas in the Bicol region and northern Philippines. Work and classes in both public and private schools in affected areas on Monday, September 2 have already been announced.
