MANILA, Philippines – GLOBAL fashion icon Heart strengthens her ties with the Kapuso network after inking a deal with Sparkle GMA Artist Center through a ceremonial contract signing event held at GMA Network’s Studio 7 on Monday, July 29.
Among the present at the contract signing were GMA Network Senior VP for Entertainment Group Lilybeth Rasonable, GMA Network President & CEO Gilberto Duavit Jr., GMA Network Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer Felipe Yalong, GMA Network Senior Vice President for Programming, Talent Management, Worldwide, and Support Group and Chief Executive Officer of GMA Films Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes and Evangelista’s manager Gigi Lara.
In her speech, the actress recalled her move to GMA in 2008 and expressed how thankful she is to be a Kapuso.
“When I moved to GMA, I didn’t know what to offer, my bosses say that I bring so much life or all the praises that they would say to me, but when they accepted me and gave me one of my biggest contracts, I hadn’t proven anything and I’m very, very grateful,” Heart said.
“Whatever I have, I would like to bring back here [GMA Network] because this is where I feel like I truly began being myself,” she said.
“Not just being myself, but they actually gave me wings where I can do whatever I want, so thank you so much to GMA. I am thankful to all of you,” she said.
Earlier this month, Evangelista went to the GMA Gala 2024 with her husband, Senate President Chiz Escudero and stunned yet again in her elegant white gown by Italian designer Giambattista Valli.
She also led the Senate spouses in conducting relief efforts to residents in flood-hit Marikina City after the devastation of Typhoon Carina and Habagat. 13.
