MANILA, Philippines – GMA Network has warned the public over messages circulating online falsely claiming to be Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara and asking for donations.
In an official statement, the network said, “ we have been informed of fraudulent messages circulating on Viber that falsely claim to be from ‘Kyline Alcantara’ soliciting donations from certain individuals. Please do not respond or provide any personal information.”
The network adviced the public to verify the sender’s identity first and stay vigilant.
In the post, the network posted a sample of the conversation between a target and a person pretending to be the actress. It can be noticed that the viber details bore her name and photo.
