MANILA, Philippines – Sen. Jinggoy Estrada has given the law enforcement agencies an ultimatum to find and arrest embattled Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo or else their 2025 budget could be affected.

In the Senate hearing on Monday, the senator lashed out at the National Bureau of Investigation and the Philippine National Police for failing to produce Guo despite having served the warrant for her arrest last July 11.

“Two weeks na hindi pa mahanap. Wala ba kayong lead?” he asked.

“If you cannot arrest her within a month, baka maapektuhan ang budget ninyo… We cannot just keep on waiting here. You better get your act together,” he warned.

Estrada questioned authorities, despite having all the resources, were having difficulty locating a prominent individual.

“Ito kilalang-kilala pa hindi nyo mahuli… Baka mahiya mga intelligence niyo kapag ganon,” he said.

Guo has failed to attend two hearings in the Senate regarding illegal offshore gaming operators prompting the upper chamber to release a warrant for her arrest.

She and her family are now at large. Only her former accountant Nancy Gamo was arrested and detained in the Senate.

Gamo faced the hearing on Monday and said she was instructed by the mayor to incorporate raided POGO companies Hong Sheng Gaming Technology Inc. and Zun Yuan Technology Inc. which she repeatedly denied having involvement in.
