MANILA, Philippines – Senate President Chiz Escudero said it is “embarrassing” on the part of law enforcement agencies, particularly the Philippine National Police and the National Bureau of Investigation that targets, suspended Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo and televangelist Apollo Quiboloy have not been located despite the issuance of warrants of their arrest.

In an ambush interview on Tuesday, Escudero gave his cents on the law enforcement’s failure to produce Guo.

“Siya lang ba? O kaya nga. Di’ba mas maraming akusado na mas malalala pa ‘yung krimen, malalaki pa ‘yung mga kaso hindi nila nahuhuli,” he said.

“Ang sagot ko ay oo, nakakahiya,kahiya-hiya para sa PNP na hindi magawa ito lalo na nandito pa naman daw sila sa bansa ayon sa Bureau of Immigration,” he said.

Bureau of Immigration intelligence reports have always said that there are no records yet that the two were able to leave the country yet they could not be found yet.

The Department of Interior and Local Government even put a P10,000,000.00 bounty for anyone who could give information as to the whereabouts of the controversial religious leader.

“Sa ilalim ng batas kapag may warrant of arrest na inissue ang korte o ang kamara o ang senado dapat ipatupad ‘yan ng law enforcement agencies natin partikular PNP at saka NBI,” he said.

Escudero however disagreed with Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Estrada that a PNP budget slash might be possible if Guo won’t be produced within the month.

“Eh di lalo nila hindi makikita ‘yung iba hindi naman ito carrot and stick paparusahan mo ‘pag may mali, ‘pag hindi naubos ‘yung budget kailangan tingnan natin lahat nung circumstances sa paligid non,” he said.
