MANILA, Philippines — At least 11 national roads are either closed or restricted to heavy vehicles only due to the flooding caused by Tropical Cyclone Enteng, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Monday.

The DPWH — Bureau of Maintenance (DPWH-BOM) has identified the following roads in the following provinces that are closed to vehicular traffic:

Rizal Province

1) Manila East Road, Barangay San Juan in Morong, Barangay Gamo and Tandang Kutyo sections in Tanay, and Barangay Takungan and Bagumbayan sections in Pililla;

2) JP Rizal St. in Baras; and

3) Sagbat Pililla Diversion Road in Barangay Maybancal, Morong.

The roads with limited access are:

CAVITE

1) General Evangelista Road in Barangay Maliksi I, Bacoor City;

RIZAL

2) Imelda Avenue in Barangay. Sto. Domingo, Cainta;

3) Cainta Kaytickling Antipolo Teresa Road (Front of Philhealth) in Barangay San Juan, Taytay;

4) Manila East Road (Taytay Bayan) in Barangay San Isidro, Taytay;

5) San Mateo-Rodriguez Road, Barangay Ampid, Dulong Bayan, and Maly sections in San Mateo and Barangay Mangahan section in Montalban;

6) Tanay Sampaloc Road, Barangay Plaza, Aldea; and

7) Rodriguez San Jose Quezon City Road, Barangay San Jose, Montalban.

Motorists are advised to avoid these flooded areas and use alternate routes where possible, the DPWH said.
