MANILA, Philippines – Relentless rains also caused cancellation of flights on Wednesday, August 28.
According to the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), the following flights have been cancelled:

DG 6113/6114 Manila-Naga-Manila
PAL Express (2P)
2P 2963/2964 Manila-Busuanga-Manila
Continuous rains have flooded areas in the National Capital Region prompting the Malacañang Palace to suspend work and classes in public schools and work in government offices in Metro Manila due to the southwest monsoon.
