While constantly praying for the complete healing of his mom Queen of All Media Kris Aquino, 17-year-old Bimby shows strength of character in accepting whatever happens to the former who has been battling several autoimmune diseases.

In an exclusive interview on talent manager-turned-vlogger Ogie Diaz’ vlog which has now garnered 2.2 million views, Bimby earned the sympathy of netizens with how he handles the situation of his mom.

“Whatever time God gives us, blessing na ‘yon,” he said,

Bimby recalled what happened during his mom’s 53rd birthday last February 14. It was a moment of uncertainty that he chose to respond to with acceptance and strength rather than anguish and questioning.

“When it was mom’s birthday, nagsulat ako ng letter, and in the letter I said – kasi during that time, during mom’s birthday things were not looking the best. They were okay but they were not looking the best,” he said.

“I wrote in the letter na, okay mom, I know times are tough, I’m so thankful na, I’m 17 now, I’m so thankful na I had 17 years with the person I love the most,” he said.

Instead of focusing on pain, Bimby chose to look at the wonderful years he grew up with his mom with a thankful heart.

“Di’ba nga, other people they only get to spend what 10 years, 5 years with the person they love the most, swerteng-swerte na ko na 17 years with my world, my universe,” he said.

“It took me a few years to really accept,  to really accept lang, it took me like what, to two years to accept. After acceptance, you learn to surrender lang,” he said.

Knowing that things aren’t in his hands, “All I can do is love her, support her, take care of her, ‘yun lang.

After years of health battle, Kris, who is currently based in the US for her medications said her conditions are actually improving and that if tests would turn out good, she could go back to the country before the year ends.
