MANILA, Philippines – Ex-Bamban, Tarlac Mayor has not attempted to leave Indonesia yet according to the Bureau of Immigration.
“Sa tracking po ng ating counterpart doon, confirmed po nasa Indonesia pa po. Wala pa pong attempts ng paglipat o pag-transfer sa ibang bansa itong si former mayor Alice Guo,” BI Spokesperson Dana Sandoval said on Unang Balita on Friday.
As for their last information, even her brother, Wesley Leal Guo is also still in Indonesia.
“With Wesley Guo, ang last known information niya is Indonesia. Wala pa po tayong new information as to his whereabouts kung lumipat po siya ng bansa,” she said.
“We are waiting sa confirmation ng Indonesia counterparts natin kung may mga updates po sa biyahe niya,” she said.
Sheila Guo, the ex-mayor’s sister and Cassandra Ong, Lucky South 99 authorized representative were intercepted by Indonesian authorities last August 20 following the word of the Philippine government to international law enforcements for help in tracking down the Guo family and Ong.
Sheila and Ong are now in the custody of the National Bureau of Investigation.
