MANILA, Philippines – Dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo’s companions, Shiela Leal Guo, her sister and Katherine Cassandra Li Ong, Lucky South 99 authorized representative are now under Indonesian authorities, Justice Secretary Boying Remulla confirmed Thursday.

He said there is a clear connection between Bamban and Porac, the two towns in Tarlac and Pampanga where illegal POGO facilities were raided.

“We found a connection between Alice Guo and Cassandra Li Ong. Which means that Bamban and Tarlac are closely related and remember despite the denials of former Secretary Roque it appears that they are really intimately related,” he told reporters.

Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos said he received a report from the PNP chief, Gen.l Rommel Marbil, that the two of Guo’s cohorts have now been detained in Indonesia, corroborating the report that the two went to the country, reportedly with Guo when they exited the Philippines.

According to sources at Camp Crame, Ong and Guo’s sister were arrested by Indonesian immigration authorities on Wednesday.

As to the grounds for their detainment, Abalos said he is still checking with Indonesian authorities.

“Pinapa-check ko pa ito but what is important even sa ibang bansa through our police attaché ay kino-coordinate. It only shows talagang seryoso dito ang kapulisyahan,” Abalos said.

The ex-mayor however still remains at large.

The Bureau of Immigration has recently confirmed that the former town chief was positively reported in Indonesia.

NBI Director Jaime Santiago however said he and his agents were still verifying reports of Guo’s escape because proof to her alleged exit were mere documents and not a personal sighting of the former mayor.

A notary public lawyer recently surfaced saying he personally saw Guo availing notarial services at his office on August 14 contrary to Sen. Risa Hontiveros, the BI and the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime’s reports that Guo had fled the country as early as July 18.
