MANILA, Philippines – Shiela Guo, the alleged sister of dismissed Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo, admitted that indeed, her sister asked her to accompany her somewhere because she was sad, but did not say anything further as to where they were going and how they would get there.

Shiela made her narration during the Senate Committee on Justice subcommittee hearing Tuesday when senators grilled her as to how their family managed to escape the country without Immigration detection.

“Ate, nalulungkot ako, samahan mo ako may pupuntahan ako,” Shiela said quoting the mayor on what she was told about where they were going when they sneaked out of the Philippines.

Sen. Joel Villanueva tried to extract more information from Shiela by asking her if she never bothered to ask the former mayor where they would go.

Shiela said the only response she got was, “Galit siya sa akin, wag daw ako tanungin basta samahan mo lang.”

Shiela and Lucky South 99 authorized distributor Katherine Cassandra Li Ong were intercepted by Indonesian authorities on August 20.  According to Shiela, she and Alice parted ways on August 19.

She was supposed to travel to Singapore and then Hong Kong when they were intercepted.

Shiela said they met Ong in Malaysia and accompanied their group to Singapore. When asked why they went to Indonesia, she said it was their brother Wesley who opened up the idea of going there because he was bored.

“Sabe ni Wesley boring daw siya wala siya ginagawa gusto niya pasyalan ganun kaya nauna siya doon,” she said.

In an earlier narration, Shiela said they exited the Philippines via series of boat travels.
