MANILA, Philippines — Three Malaysian nationals, who claimed to be members of Quiboloy’s KOJC were barred from entering the Philippines after discovering their alleged intent to participate in one of the rallies supporting the embattled fugitive-preacher.

In a statement, Immigration Commissioner Norman Tansingco revealed that three passengers were sent back to Malaysia on August 28, although the report was only released to the press on Sunday.

The trio, identified as Jessica Lynn Henry, Mimielianna Annie Anak Leesoi, and Andrijosebaul Anak Garra—all in their mid-20s—arrived at NAIA Terminal 1 on the night of August 27 on a Philippine Airlines flight from Kuala Lumpur. They were reportedly traveling with a group of Filipinos claiming to be members of KOJC, who later “abandoned” them after they were referred for additional immigration screening.

Tansingco said that the Malaysians were denied entry due to concerns that they might become a public charge, as they exhibited suspicious behavior during the inspection.

“Our immigration officers discovered their intent to participate in anti-government demonstrations being staged by KOJC members who are protesting the ongoing manhunt for Pastor Quiboloy,” Tansingco said.

“Foreigners have no business interfering in the country’s internal political affairs, thus aliens who join these protest actions can be expelled for violating our immigration laws and for being undesirable aliens,” he said.

In their incident report, the BI supervisors who interviewed the Malaysians noted that the passengers claimed they were headed to Davao City at the invitation of KOJC. However, they were unable to provide any evidence of their financial capability to sustain their stay in the country and admitted to being unemployed.

During the interview, one of the Malaysian passengers displayed her mobile phone, revealing an Excel screenshot containing “anti-government” slogans such as “BBM Resign,” “Stop KOJC Injustices,” and “AFP/PNP Protect the People.”

When questioned about the screenshot, the passenger claimed she accidentally downloaded the slogans from her Facebook/Messenger page, it said.

The Malaysians have been placed on the immigration blacklist and are permanently banned from entering the country, the BI said.
